Most of us never thought we’d see a day when tickets are being sold to watch the sport of professional disc golf. Well, that day is here and The Open at Belton is pleased to participate in keeping with our mission of providing a gallery friendly venue for the sport’s top competitors. Ticket sales not only help pay for the production of the event and ongoing course expenses, they help increase the amount of payout going to the players from this particular tournament. Your support helps ensure the traveling tour players keep coming back to The Open Disc Golf Championship.
Additionally, as professional disc golf becomes more popular, it is important for the comfort and safety of the competitors to have a mechanism for controlling the “stadium” which is, of course, the course. Please follow the spectator rules the DGPT has published on eventbrite when you purchase your tickets.
We expect another thrilling finish like we had last year when both the MPO and FPO divisions came down to the wire with the 54th hole still in play.
